i woke up in the morning got out of my bed . it was too hot in haldwani (36km away from nainital) so i thought going to nainital as it was a weekend . i called my friend and asked him to come with me and thankfully he was interested in going nainital (as this palce is such a beauty) . so we met and then started our journey by car .
it was so hot in haldwani but as we were passing the distance the weather was becoming cool and calm .
there are many places to stop by while going to nainital such as bhujiyaghat, do gao , jeolikot, etc where you can sit for a while if you feel tired and eat some delicious snacks.
the chai and pakoras of do gao are very famous.
as this is summer so you can enjoy bhutta at every point .
anyways we stop by do gao for some chai and pakoras and then again we started our journey .. the view from jeolikot was spectacular.
after 1.5 hour of journey we reached nainital .
the start point of the nainital is naini lake . this is the most popular and eye-catching lake . nainital is famous for this lake .
the lake is so beautiful. the temperature of nainital is around 15-16° in summers so you can wear anything untill you are not upto for a trek.
this lake city of uttarakhand has numerous restaurant, picnic spots, site seeing, waterfalls, treks. there are many guides over there which cam be helpful if you don't know what to do
you can do boating in the lake . nainital is also famous for momos and thupka
you should try if you go there .
