I start to ride from my hometown (vikasnagar) to dakpather which is 5km from vikasnagar and the way is good enough to do cycling because roads are good , dakpather can be your rest point too because it has some serious beautiful view around some hill and barrage where a pull which comnects himachal and Uttrakhand you may rest and can easily buy essential things for eat there is a market too, then i again started to ride and reached Haripur which is approx 10km from dakpather tuere is a view you must gonna like as if you came from other place because the view for hill always attract after 2 km from haripur a place you will arrive Kalsi where is an ancient place which is famous to checkout "ASHOKA ROCK EDDICT"

Ashok rock edict, the only one in northern India
Scripted in human approach after the war, when ashoka imbibe buddhism.  Kalsi's ashoka edict reflects the policies for the commitment to non-violence and restrictions of war. The ashokas edict was built in 450 BC and a quartz stone of 10ft length and 8ft breadth is used for the script.. With many languages on it.
After the visit i just move on and continued to cycle the way and as it getting darker so i had to come back ..the same way ..
If you come and want to cycling its a so good in winter and summer both the major part is covered with trees so its easy to go in summer too...
Total distance is about 45km of a ride..and there is more much places to explore in a day.. which are not Google maps even.as a localite we know all..
