As we reached harsil we all were tired after riding for the whole day and we had a proper rest that night. Early morning me and my 2 friends woke up to explore the beautiful village where we were staying, Bagori.
It was one of the most beautiful village I've ever been. The people here were so kind and cheerful. Our homestay owner had a Apple orchid. So we were having apples all the time directly from the tree. As it's a small village it didn't took a lot to time to explore it. On my way back to our stay I clicked some portraits of the locals there.
After we reached our room it was time for breakfast and we had their local tea with aaloo paratha. The tea is salty so some might not be able to drink it, but you should experience it.
Soon after breakfast we head to the most hyped place that time i.e. Gartang gali
I've provided little info about this place in my last article of harsil valley. It's a short hike to reach Gartang gali from the Lanka bridge (bridge on Gangotri highway). We spend some time there taking pictures, videos and after that we thought when we've come this far we should also visit Gangotri temple too. So we headed there, but the temple was closed because of Covid due to which there were no crowd there so it was an amazing experience for me as I don't prefer places which are too crowded.
After praying there I spent some time looking at the beautiful mountains surrounding the temple and the river flowing right next to it. Then it was time to return and on our way back to Bagori we found a beautiful waterfall, so we went there cook some maggi and spend time talking to friends. And there's a spot on that route that gives you a beautiful view of the valley we stopped there for pictures too.
After that we headed to our room as it started raining. We reached our room and uncle offered us tea and we had talk with uncle regarding the history of that village and how their ancestors used to trade with Tibet. He told us many stories and after that his wife also joined us and after that long gossip we even forget it was getting dark.
It was then time for dinner and after that we went to sleep. And it was end of our second day in Harsil.
