Gokarna trip Day 1:- A Complete Guide ( Must visit place in india for Beach Lover)

Day 1

My Trip was Started from Bangalore to Gokarna.(i will recommend Bus if you want to enjoy the journey) .

Even Trains are available from Bangalore.

If you are from other states i will recommend you to take a flight (Full detail will b given down to the articles).

REACHED GOKARNA AT 10AM IN MORNING WITH GREENLINE TRAVELLER BUS.

If you are a solo traveller i will recommend you to stay in Zostel or Tripper for best experience. As I was with Someone so i took Hotel.

My Hotel(Shree Katyayani residency) was 500m away from Bus Stand. Just at walking distance. But we were so tierd so i took a auto from Bus Stand and they Dropped us near our hotel with cost me around 70RS.

After a couple of hour of rest We PLANNED TO Hit to the beach. Thats what we came for 😊.

Main Beach is just a kilometres away from my Hotel. But we planned to visit OM Beach on first day.

Before That its around 2PM and we were so hungry so we planned to have some good Lunch.

For Lunch we went to Fish corner which was near to the Bus Stand (Nice food when you are hungry). We have tried Fish Thali and some pork fried rice. The taste was Good. ( this will cost you around 500Rs).

From Bus Stand to OM beach is around 5.5KM (Not recommended to walk tht far if you want to go for trekking start it from OM Beach)

I took a auto with cost Rs 200 from One side and the greenery in Between Bus stand to OM Beach is amazing you can enjoy every Bit of it.

Om Beach is a major tourist attraction in the coastal city of Gokarna, located in North Canara district. One of the acclaimed beaches in the country, Om Beach takes the shape of an ‘Om’, a Hindu spiritual symbol. In the shape of two crescents joined together to form an Om, the beach offers a breathtaking view of the sunset. The long stretch of white sandy beach adjoining the rocky terrain appeals to travellers from around the world.

Activities to try at Om Beach

Sunset watching: Sunset in the Arabian Sea is always spectacular to watch. Gokarna’s Om beach offers excellent sunset views.

Water sports: Jet Ski ride, banana boat rides, parasailing and surfing are some of the activities to try in Gokarna’s Om beach. Activities are offered by private operators and not all activities may be available at all times.

(All these activities will. Cost you around 1000 to 2000. Some of them are cheaper then that but that depend upon the timing you visit)

Hiking: Hills around Gokarna offer good hiking opportunities. Hike From Om Beach viewpoint, Om Beach Rock View and Rock of Peace near Om Beach for a great view of the beach and ocean. From OM beach, you can hike to Half Moon Beach (less crowd) which will take around 20-30min and then from Half Moon Beach to Paradise Beach (Rocks Trekking) will take you around 20-30min again.

Both are amazing place to spend Time with youself or with Your Loved one.

How to reach Om Beach,Gokarna: Om beach is 6 kms from Gokarna city centre. Gokarna is 345 kms from Bengaluru and 230 kms from Mangalore . Goa is the nearest airport (150 kms from Gokarna). Ankola is the nearest railway station (19 kms). From Gokarna city, auto or taxi can be hired to reach Om Beach.

Places to stay near Om Beach Gokarna: Jungle Lodges & Resorts operate OM Beach resort right next to Om Beach in Gokarna. Gokarna town has multiple hotels such as Zostel, Tripper, etc , Beach side resorts(Sanskruti Resort Gokarna, Kudle Ocean Front Resort, etc) and Homestays(Private Cottages) .

Middle of the Half Moon to paradise its an amazing trekking experience so many rocks all around (be careful while walking on the rocks).

Again from Paradise to OM Beach you can take a Boat which will cost you 300Rs each.

I came back after all to OM Beach.

These is a cafe called NAMASTE CAFE( amazing experience/ Must try ).

We had our dinner there and then again took auto from OM Beach and reached back to the Hotel room.

It Was an amazing day of my life. Each an every moment was so precious.
