Goa, one of the most desired tourist destination spot where people from all over India and abroad, come to visit this place. The architecture has been greatly influenced by the Portuguese has it can be seen in their buildings and monuments. Goa is famous for it's cashew nuts, wine and sweet dish bebinca. Goa is really famous for it's low cost drinks and the most poplular drink for the locals in Goa is feni. My guide always consumed it and trust me it smells horrible. The most authentic food is fish curry and rice which every person should try. The beaches of Goa are fun, serene and bliss. The Baga beach is one of the most happening beach. You can shop and pamper yourselves in Goa. You can visit the Panjim city which is the hub for all the markets. At Old Goa you find many handicrafts items. The best time to visit Goa is between November and March. Avoid visiting Goa during rainy season as you will miss all the beach parties and fun. The electronic dance music festival "Sunburn" happens here at Goa. I really had a really good time at Goa and I look forward to spend Christmas week in Goa. New year and Christmas would be fun here.
