The Garjiya Devi Temple of Ramnagar is a very famous temple and a holy place for locals and around Kumaon regions. During Kartik Poornima (in NOV-DEC) thousands of devotees from different places come to this Temple.

I went to Garjiya Devi temple Ramnagar with my friends and family for a short one day trip from Nainital. It takes 2 hours to reach here.
Though not everyone in our team was ready to spend a day here, but once we visited, the environment and the place was so charming, and it filled us with peace.
And finally, we decided to spend our day exploring the beautiful Garjiya mandir / temple, nearby places and the gorgeous Kosi river.
Garjiya Devi Temple Ramnagar is located in the bank of the Kosi river.
It is been believed that the rock on which the Garjiya mandir is located came down during a flood in river Kosi.
