The trip has started from Guwahati Airport after taking ILP(Inner Line Permit) for Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang area. The ILP facility at the airport is hassle free and issued ILP is valid for a month which costs a little extra compared to the regular one from ILP offices.
What's Next.. Entire day was filled with travel to reach Bomdila via Tezpur. The journey was smooth till Bhalukpong covering Tezpur and Balipara, but the road became adventurous from Bhalukpong till Bomdila. The day ended after reaching hotel near Bomdila Monastery.
The day is planned to quickly cover Bomdila and reach Tawang by the end of the day, of course after covering all the crazy places enroute.
Hot spring on the banks of Dirang river - Warm water pool formed by hot water stream just beside the Dirang river.
Next is the place which gives goosebumps, every time you hear its history and remember the brave heart Rifleman Jaswant Singh. i.e Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
A refreshing dip in Jung Falls aka Nuranang falls helped to re-gain the drained energy so far which is required to reach Tawang.
Second day ended after the fantastic journey from Bomdila to Tawang.
Started the day early to visit Bum La Pass as there is a chance of denial if the entry point is not reached on time. Bum La Pass entry requires additional permission which has to be acquired from Army office in Tawang.
The journey to Bum La Pass offers some of the best valley and river views through a bumpy road.
One should witness the feeling of standing at the indo-china border on their own as words fell short to explain the magic.
After witnessing the magic started to visit Shungatser Lake also called as Madhuri lake. The beauty of this lake and its route gives you best snaps.
What a day it was, truly gigantic and ended with revisiting the history of 1962 war etched through light show at Tawang War Memorial at the heart of Tawang.
The plan is to cover Tawang and reach Dirang by the end of the day. So, it started slow with a visit to Tawang monastery and museum.
The return journey has started and reached Dirang by the end of the day.
Started the day by visiting some water streams in Dirang and started early to reach Bhalukpong before dark.
The day ended at Nameri Eco Camp after full of Journey from Dirang.
The Eco camp setup near the banks of Kameng River has multiple options to cherish lush green nature.
The forest office offers morning treks to Nameri National Park & Tiger Reserve along with forest guard which is on the other side of Kameng River. Crossing Kameng river on boat is wonderful morning experience. One can spot Deers and Wild bores in the forest if lucky, to spot a tiger it should be luckiest day.
The Eco Camp also offer River rafting in Kameng River which is very normal. You can spot nice birds during the rafting as you do not need to raft.
Very much relaxed day with lot of greenery and forest stay experience.
After leaving all the tiredness at Eco camp, started journey to Kaziranga National Park with rejuvenated energy. Multiple hops and with quick snacks reached Kaziranga after 4 hours of journey by evening.
The evening is well spent in Orchid and Biodiversity Park along with the cultural program depicting different cultures of 7 states.
The day started with Elephant ride in Kaziranga National Park Western Range (Bagori) where one can spot multiple Rhinos from close as Elephants move pretty close to Rhinos.
After Breakfast headed to Central Range for the open top jeep ride in Kaziranga National Park.
After stomach full of delicious lunch, headed back to Guwahati with lot of wonderful experiences and memories and boarded the bird to reach the NEST.
