I'd like to share a couple of frames that I'd like to call 'Flow'. You'll know why once you see them :P
The first frame has been created by slicing and stitching 12 shots taken on a chilly winter morning at one of the most beautiful peaks- Kheerganga. The peace of the morning was soul soothing. The smell from the trees and snow was fresh and organic. A wing weary bird, sodden with the morning’s dew, flashed across my vision and faded out of sight. And then another. And another. I turned on my GoPro, framed the scene, and patiently waited for them to pass through the frame. Thanks to the 0.5 sec timelapse mode, I was able to capture not one but two birds in their flight path. It was an elixir for the soul to witness nature’s sights and sounds in the glory of the morning. I smiled looking at the individual frames and thinking how cool would this look in post.
The skies were varnish clear on a cold evening in New Delhi. I was returning from my photography excursion in Himachal Pradesh and decided to stay at one of my closest friend's place in Delhi. Before I took the flight for my hometown, we decided to visit the Hauz Khas Village area as being from Delhi, he had never visited the garden-side of it and being a photographer, I wanted to witness the mild-orange winter sunset. It was a pleasant evening, albeit the simpering wind carried hints of cantankerous cold.
I saw an exodus of birds flying over the arching architectural beauties of HKV campus. The moon served as the north star for the frame and then only task left after that was to wait for a bird or a group of birds to fly through it. After a few tries, I was able to burst-capture the silhouette of a bird in its path. I then stacked all the frames in post to make this frame.
