Ever since my childhood I imagined how my first experience of Taj Mahal would be! I have seen my father's and brother's beautiful photos clicked with magnificent beauty. The day came when my quick visit to Delhi was planned. And I checked all the possible ways of traveling to Taj Mahal. Me with my sister and brother in law decided to hire a cab and reach Taj Mahal before the sunrise.
As our journey started, I kept track of maps and the distance. The joy was just overwhelmed with the beautiful long highways. On the way, we took a small Chai break to get freshen up!
Finally we booked our "Tum Tum" (horse ride) to reach the main entrance for Taj! The rush within was visible outside with never ending smile on my face. We kept our bags in the baggage section and finished our security check ins. Next was the beautiful white tomb emerging as we approached the wonder of the world.
“Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.” - Thich Nhat Hanh. That was the day when I truly understood the meaning of this quote.
It was time to breathe in all the beauty of Taj Mahal from all the sides, to capture the essence of it!
Now I wish to explore more beauty of Taj in all the different seasons, under moonlight, winter sun, drizzling monsoon and summer heat!
