As she gave her first glimpse,our heart skipped a beat.Frantically,we tried verifying it,through the electronic eyes.Two days of chasing with no luck,made us doubt her authenticity.
Today too,we were waiting for over two hours.We were hoping our friend(Sami) would bring in some good luck.Her first appearance was not impressive.She vanished quickly,even before we could gaze.She seemed to be playing hide and seek.We too were up for her games .Today,the universe had conspired our meet,(Weather conditions were clear ,the activity levels were high)she had to appear today.
The beautiful lady was teasing all her fans.But our network was strong.We would track her down ,even if it meant traveling far and remote.I guess ,somewhere all of us were praying silently.Then she flashed again,testing our alertness.We heard shrieks of joy and looked up above.This time,we could see her vaguely.Our hopes raised exponentially.Anticipating,her moves we stayed back.
Our patience bore fruit.She came out in her full form and strength. Spellbound, we revered her beauty.A chill ran down my spine,as I witnessed her.I stood there awestruck,like a kid who was watching her first magic show.My happiness knew no bounds.Our enthusiasm must have plagued her,she then danced like a beautiful goddess. We sat besotted.
We were far off from the city lights. Our tour guide(Julian from ChasingLights) had found the perfect spot. As most of us were going to see her for the first time,he made sure to capture our photos with her.We couldn't take our eyes from her whenever she appeared.We were captivated by her beauty and grace. Each time our happiness doubled when we saw her. For nearly an hour ,she came out in different forms and color and enthralled us.
She had cast such a spell on us,that we couldn't even feel the cold. When slowly she left and Julian started the bonfire,we sensed how cold and hungry we were. We had dinner under the sky,chit chatting with our fellow travelers .
It was a magical romantic night. The whole experience was surreal. I embraced my husband to let him know,how happy I was. The best part about traveling with your partner is experiencing these beautiful moments together.It not only rekindle the romance,but connects our soul. I fall in love all over again.
