"Lovely weather, amazing view
The hailstorm came as the clouds flew."
It was the third day when we had just reached the base camp after about 4-5 hours of trek and it started to drizzle which was followed by a hailstorm. (Dumdumi base 🏕 )
We were not able to get out of our tents. It felt like we were trapped in this small dwelling unable to go out and if anyone went, then they were not allowed to come in. As it would make everything wet and we couldn't afford it. It was already cold and the water would make it worse. Also when we had to go out for toilet we'd go in pairs i.e. only 2 ponchos were used so that it could help in drying them easily as there was no space in the tent for everyone's ponchos.
This was a fun experience though I wouldn't want it again as it made us stay in the tent most of the day time.
