Started our journey from Delhi to Dehradun at 4'0 clock in the morning.. Reached the place at 8am without stopping Midway. It rained at Deoband and my shoes went really dirty. Took hotel room on the Rajpur Road by 10 am. Then we took some rest and headed our trip towards Sahastradhara. Came back to our hotel at 5pm and took a break then roam around the city, watched clock tower and Paltan Bazar in night.
We checked our from our hotel early morning and went to the robbers cave and dehradun zoo which fell on the Dehradun-Mussoorie road. Left dehradun by 2'o clock and reached mussoorie by 4pm. It started getting cloudy and foggy till we reached to the hill station, we checked in our Hotel Beachwood and went for a walk after dinner at the Mall Road. We didn't brought any warm clothes so we bought jackets from the mall road market at expensive rates. Since it's the off-season, most of the shops shut down by 10pm.
Had breakfast at the Lovely Omelette, Mall Road and headed our journey towards Dhanaulti.. on the way we saw the signboard of Lal Tibba, which is the highest point of Mussoorie, so we first went there. Couldn't see any view points from there because of the cloudy weather. Then left from there and it took us total two and a half hours to reach Dhanaulti because weather went really bad and it started raining so we had to take shelter on a camping site which fell on the way. Had Maggi and tea there then left for our destination. Visibility on the road went zero and clouds fell on the way. Reached Dhanaulti eco park, enjoyed there and came back to the hotel by 6pm. Had dinner at Kalsang, their chicken drumsticks are superb.
Went to the Kempty Fall and Sainji village i.e. the crop village. Had a good time there. Also went to the gun hill, clouds end, camels road, enjoyed our last night at the mall road. Had little difficulty finding in boiled eggs at the mall.
Had to left for Delhi early morning but couldn't because of the clouds and fog that spread crazily on the entire hill station. Couldn't see even the roads. Left at 11:55 am after it rained and reached Delhi at 7'o clock. We took the wrong road i.e. the Roorkie one. The road was very bad and journey was long too. Finally, we took with us a lot of memories and took a promise to come back to the queen of hills again.
