With memories of Jaipur still afresh and keen to visit more places in this journey, we started with our day with a Kulhad chai and some medium lite breakfast. Today, we had planned to visit India's only Bramha Temple that happens to be in Pushkar. Also on the way, we were going to witness the feels of what is popularly known as 'Rajasthan ka Switzerland', that is, the dumping yard at Kishangarh.

Almost about 105 kms away from Jaipur (approx 1 hr 15 min) is this beauty in the heart of Rajasthan. It easily passes off as the paradise despite being a wasteland. If you wanted to have some picturesque locations which would make people guessing about the location spot, then this place is your choice. The place is sprawling with tourists and visitors at all times. There will be a pre-wedding shoot or some other music video shoot happening at all times at this place. You will usually have to acquire prior permission before entering the premises from the Kishangarh Marble Association. This place will surely get you some good content for your Instagram stories.
After a brief stop near Kishangarh, we finally reached Pushkar in the noon. We had booked our stay at the Hotel Master Paradise which is near to the Bramha Temple of Pushkar. The hotel is an architectural beauty, nicely depicting the glory and heritage of Rajasthan, with its handicrafts and local arts. They also have an in-house restaurant, whose walls are decorated with beautiful Rajasthani paintings. The food here is authentic too. With typical Rajasthani thali being served at a very minimal price.
We proceeded to see the India's only Bramha Temple, which is the main highlight of Pushkar. The devotees and tourists flock here in huge numbers to get the divine darshan of the God of Creation. The temple is situated very close to the sacred Pushkar Lake which holds an important part in the mythology behind the temple. The legends say that the place got its name directly by the deity himself. He named the place where the flower ("pushpa") fell from Brahma's hand ("kar") as "Pushkar". We also witnessed the evening "Sandhya Aarti" which starts at around 7 PM. After our darshan, we proceeded to visit the nearby local Pushkar Market, where we bought some local goodies for ourselves and our family.
Finally, the day ended with lots of fun and sacred worship at the divine temple. We enjoyed our time at Pushkar, and now were ready to move to our next destination i.e Chittorgarh, the place of bravery and sacrifices. We retired for the day and had the rest of our great chilly night at our hotel.
