Dandeli, a place located in uttara karnataka(north karnataka) is a hotspot for adventure lovers.
So this time we went with an organizer called banjara gypsies. We started from bangalore at around 7:30 PM and headed towards dandeli via tumkur. We were taken in a tempo traveller and it the journey was very long and tiring. After a point of time around 3 AM the roads were completely covered with fog and on top of it there were several diversions because of the 6 way road which is being built up currently. We had to take the ghat roads which was so rough and Google maps ditched us whenever it could.
Coming back to our trip, we reached dandeli at around 7:30 in the morning. Yup that was a 12 hour long journey. But the weather out there in morning made s forget all those tiring moments and it was so refreshing to see. Our stay was very near to the town but still into deep woods. The location was super cool. The stays name was panther stays. So as soon as we reached the place we had some refreshments and went for a jungle trek. The trek was an hour long where you could witness nature at its best with river kali flowing on side. We came back had our break fast and left for the very thing we came for dandeli...Rafting...So we couldn't get slots for the 10 km raft so we had to go with a 6 km one. That costed around 1000 bucks per person.
The rafting experience was totally awesome. We had a total of 5 rapids and we swam in the middle of the river. Dandeli is the spot if you wanna experience a proper rafting in South India.
After rafting we came back had our lunch took some rest and did some in-house activities which was available in our stay. It was not so great but an okayish experience to pass your time.
We had a nice sumptuous dinner and bonfire was arranged as tge place was crowded we came out and star gazed....the sky was clear and there were lots and lots of stars
That's it for day 1
Day 2 was a bit unplanned so our guys started late we wanted to go for natural jacuzzi but
