I went there to attend my cousins wedding , this was the first time when I was attending any wedding in Kolkata. Wedding functions got over by 22 Nov 2019 . So I decided to explore the city on sat i.e. , 23 Nov 2019. I left my house at 8 am and took only 500 RS to explore the city. My house is in uttarpara . First I took a e-rick to ballyghat it charged me 8 RS , then I took a sharing auto to dakshineswar temple. I couldn't click pics because it was restricted . I visited the temple and took blessings for God and the overall time it took was 3 hours as it had a lot of rush. Then my place was to go to Victoria memorial. I had to change three autos to reach to dum dum metro station . Then I took a ticket to rabindra sarobar and I was shocked that ticket fare was only 15 RS . Then I boarded the metro , got a seat and I dozzed off. Thankfully I got up at rabindra sarobar then I took an exit with Gate no 2 and it was walking distance to reach Victoria memorial . The ticket price was only rs 30 . I was there for neraly an hour. I was lost by seeing the statues and how beautifully it was created. From there I went to birla planetarium. I didn't went inside . Then I headed towards church - St. Paul's cathedral church . It was very beautiful. Then I headed to princep ghat . For that I took a cab from church till ghat and it charged me rs 50. Finally I reached there. It was one of the famous lovers point . And I was travelling alone so I was feeling little bad that no one was with me . I have seen many Bengali movies which have been shot there. Then I went towards the ghat and sat there for 20 mins . Even I saw pre wedding photo shoot of a couple. Then I went to esplanade for metro. So took a cab from there and he charged me 42 RS to metro station. Then I reached there and saw central mall. I am a shopping freak so went for shopping and brought dresses and then I left for home . It took me 1.5 hrs to reach home. Finally at 4:30 I reached . My overall trip was good. My whole one day trip was covered in less than 200 RS , if you don't count my shopping bills😂.
