Day 1
Have you heard of Chittaranjan Park or commonly known as Cr. Park?
In the mid of the hustle bustle of this metro city lies a colony in the lap of South Delhi. A home to a large bengali community, once it gave shelter to several emigrants from the parts of Pakistan and Bangladesh during the partition.
A hub of culture, heritage and festivity this neighborhood has lost its charm somewhere.
The things and places which defines it's existence are:

The market no. 1&2 fish market- A Bengali household is empty without a delicious recipe of 'macher jhol'. These markets are the famous markets for its variety of fishes. There is always a rush in the evening to buy the best quality fishes.

Durga puja celebration - Ever seen 20 above durga puja pandals in a single place? If not, then definitely visit Cr. Park this festive season. The sound of Dhak, the aura of goddess durga, delicious delicacies and faces of cheerful people fills the air with happiness for four festive days.

Chittaranjan bhawan- This place was made on the memory of Chittaranjan Das. It is house for several cultural activities where kids come to learn the skills of art, dance, music.

The kali mandir - Built on the centre of the neighbourhood, this divine temple is the soul of this place.

But somewhere the charm of the ancestral touch in this neighborhood has vanished with time. Still this little Bengali colony has maintained its cultural values.

So, visit this place someday and enjoy the delicacies of the bengali community and breath the air of mini calcutta.
