Our journey starts from delhi at night in october and its an almost 12 hours journey through rishikesh. We stayed in a camp which is perfect, surrounded by beautiful views a river and snow capped mountain views. It was nothing short of peace, a perfect place away from city and closer to serenity.
So sit back and relax and enjoy the view n a sky full of stars at night.
We got up early in the morning all set to hike tungnath temple which is the highest shiva temple. Its approx. 5 km hike and its a well made route too. Even good for beginners. Take your own time enjoy the views it surrounds with and with a heart full of faith the climb the mountains.
After reaching tungnath we rested for a bit got inside and prayed. Take in every vibe and beauty it holds wait for the mountain air to fill you with hope and those cold breeze to calm you from you hike.
After catch our breath we started our journey for chandrashila which is a 2 km track from tungnath. Its a little difficult hike then tungnath as the way is not clearly made up and though u can see the peak n its look really near which helps u to reach faster but it took more energy to reach at the top as its really steep. But believe me dont miss it give yourself a lil push and dont miss it for the world because its the best view from there.
Its at such a high point that only u and some eagles can reach there, even birds cant fly that high.
So its a literal " Aj mai upar asman neeche moment" as all you can see is clouds from down there.
Clouds crossing you, sun seems so close and all you worries and world so far away.
Take you time let it sink in and watch the sunset there. If you cant go for the sunrise. Its equally breathtaking. Make new friends as the routes guide you to a new n absolutely beautiful journey of your life.
And then spending a lot of time there we trek down and as i have my legs hurting it was still worth every bit of it and i am excited for the next days journey too.
