Christmas is just 3 days from now and the city already has the spirit in. Colaba, the hub for all the tourists where you have everything. From the eye catchy shopping stalls of jewelleries, accessories like bracelets, earings, rings to the new style clothes, from the fancy watches to the most antique objects costing so expensive, from the spacious Mc donalds to the most wanted Leopold cafe, Colaba is one of the best torist spot loved by all the foreigners and even the locals. It is the true epitome which reflects the life at SoBo (South Bombay). How can you miss the Irish pub there. There are many stalls where traditional Rajasthani items are available at a highly increased price though, yet you don't mind spending it because Colaba is known for it. The watches here are very famous. Infact most of the antique things like telescope, old currencies, binoculars, glasses are available here. The accessories collection is just flabbergasting. It's the best place any girl would desire for. My college is right next to Colaba and I know how my heart bleeds crossing through the same lane every single day staring at those alluring jewelleries and clothes. It's one of the best place to spend an entire day.

Today, we just decided to have a glance at the Christmas decoration at Colaba. This place would look amazing at night as there are many lights on many posters and Christams trees. At around 9:00 am i the morning, there's this uncle whom we call "Anna" who sells yummy idlis and vada and just 30 minutes later, his utensils are empty. The sale is just so fast. There's this thretre called Regal there which is the landmark if you are travelling through bus or any public transport. Tell the taxi driver you want to go to Regal, and there is Colaba.

The Gateway of India is very close to colaba and is one of the most visited place by the tourists here. The Elephanta caves is situated very near to the Gateway and one can use a motor boat to go to Elephanta where the statues of Shivaji and Swmai Vivekanand has been constructed just at the entrance. It looks very beautiful at night and you love the cool breeze here. The most unique element of the place are the pigeons, the photographers who click your picture and instantly give them, the person selling umbrellas, snacks, cotton candy, balloons and chanas for the pigeons. It's one place where you can obsereve so many things.
Leopold cafe is one of the most famous restaurant and bar in this place. This place was the first site where the 2008 Mumbai attacks took place on 26 November. The terrorists had first attacked here where the cafe had been very severely damaged. The cafe is always filled with many foreigners who love the ambience and food here. They love the beer here. Most of the birthday celebration is done here.
Cafe Mondegar is also known as Mondy's. The ambience is really very catchy here. It's different than Leopold as the section of drinking beer is different and is fairly less expensive. The christmas decoration at mondegar is very attractive and is very near to the Taj hotel.
The Prince of Wales Museum is really good if you like history. The museum has a collection of many sculptures and documents and a must visit for people. There are around 2000 paintings stored here from the various art schools in India.
