Chandigarh to srinagar. Got stuck for 2 nights.

. I started my trip from mohali exactly at 10:00 pm.

I had my dinner at Punjabi haveli jalandar .It is one of the famous culture based food spots of North India .If you never have visited this place you should visit it once .

The very next morning I reached samba jandk

I started my trip from samba to srinagar via Dhar road as it is a shorter route and has beautiful road covered with mountains,an old tunnel and also mansar lake is on the way(You can also take a boat ride here).the view was astounding.we were allowed to travel from udhampur exactly at 10:00am

I reached Ramban around 2:00pm and. Got stuck for 3 hours because of land slides

It started snowing from Ramsu area and made the road slippery.

Due to slippery conditions all traffic was stopped at banihal.So I had to stay in car in -10°c for 27 hours but the view was worth to be enjoyed.

The very next day I left for srinagar at around 4:00 pm after traffic was allowed but due to slippery conditions at banihal jawaher tunnel and shaitannallah area it took me 4 hours from banihal to tunnel and 7 hours to cover 7kms from banihal tunnel to mondah .I finally reached srinagar around 10:am due to traffic jams..
