It is a shame I didn't share this before.
Back home after a long time, I decided to roam around with my friend. We decided to go to a nearby spot called Calvary Mount. It was so stunning, I couldn't believe the view from Calvary Mount and I couldn't believe I have never had an appreciation for such stunning spots near my home.
I felt a sudden change of view about my hometown, I started realising how beautiful our little village is. And to be honest it is shameful that it took outsiders and even foreigners coming in search of the unaltered beauty of nature, to make me realise that these hidden gems are worth sharing with the world.
If you ever visit Idukki, come visit Calvary Mount. Breathtaking view, awsome coffee and tea, both from the nearby plantations, the mist caressing your skin and the teasing sun playing hide and seek with clouds. You will thank me for all these.
