Day 1

So, baglan range trek was always on my bucket list from past 2 years when I actively started trekking. Well, I can cover salher fort within 1 day but the real happiness & beauty of this fort is in staying at night and watching early morning sunrise from top. so, we started from Nashik early morning on my bike Unicorn with one of my friend (trek buddy) towards Waghambe base village.

We took our breakfast at Saundane village from which Waghambe is around 15 Kms. Actually, we were looking for healthy snacks on morning like Poha, Upma but unfortunately we ended up eating Wada-Rassa & Pav as there are limited options available.
(Tip:if you are planning for this trip, advice you to finish your breakfast at Sogras phata, devla or Satana)
We bought some bannans for snacks and headed towards Waghambe. Finally around 9 o clock we reached to Waghambe village.
(Tip: detailed are provided in a caption with photos why we choose Waghambe base village for this Trek.)

Finally,we started our Trek towards Khind(center point where salher and Salota treck actually starts). around 3 to 3:30 hrs of hardwork we finally reached to that center point.trust me it's not at all easy with having weight of 4 killos on shoulder and back. It Tests your stamina and patience every time and harsh sun rays were there to loose your confidence. That's why those who wanders in sahyadri knows the beauty of baglan range trek and I was experiencing this.
(Tip:trai details with photos are added in blog for better understanding of forts)

We ate our snacks, bannans and rested for a while over there. After some rest, started assending the Salota which is on left side from that point. One can see clear trail for this. Within 45 minutes, we reached at base carved stairs of Salota fort. One have to be really careful while assending this trail as there are some slipary patches to climb.

Almost an hour we took and  finally completed Salota and started decendig the fort and heading towards the centre point again to proceed for Salher.
(Tip: details with photos are added)

Around 5:00 clock there and we were so tired as we haven't ate that much proteins. But, we need to be in hurry as we don't want to missed the sunset. Took 12 mins of break and started for Salher and within 38 to 40 minutes we finally at Salher's main entrance door. The feeling was awesome there.

But it's almost time for sunset and to watch sunset we literally running to catch it 😅. I don't know but I was mad 😂 at that time I literally completed the overall plateau within 15 minutes with that weight on back but unfortunately we missed the sunset 😞.
Wo kehte hai na "jitna bhi try karlo Life Mai Kuch na Kuch to chutega he,to Jaha hai wahi Ka Maja Lete hai" and I really felt this at that time.

We found one plane and good place for camping as there were already couple of groups who aquired the caves which are generally use for camping. Ok, so we almost ended up with tieng tents but later one incident happened with us and we saw one snake 🐍 who was hiding under large stone 😣.we shocked and decided not to camp at this Side and we wrapped up all things within 10 mins and headed towards caves where there was placed for camping.
(Tip: it's better if you sat near caves as there are much better place for camping)
4 people's are joined us for camping which was from Surat and one of them was already done this Trek. Those people are so kind to us and we enjoyed a lot that night.

Day 2

Next day, we woked up around 5 o clock and headed towards highest point of fort to watch sunrise. There are around 20 people's already there to witness the sunrise and ten was too cold l,we literally took shall to protect from heavy wind and finally that moment arrived and I saw the mesmerising sunrise from the highest fort of Maharashtra 😍❣️ that feeling was which I can't express over words. I live for the day which I was planning from past 2 years and that moment was finally in front of me.
I took blessings of God and thanks him for the moment 🙏.

Later, we clicked some good photos and headed towards our return journey to Nashik.
