Day 1

Standing high on the deccan plateau and with 2 major rivers-Godavari and Krishna flowing across Telangana is home to mesmerising waterfalls.

Best time to visit these places is in the rainy season between June-August so that there is ample water for the majestic falls.

With 2 days in hand, our road trip began from Hyderabad to Bogatha Waterfalls in Vajedu Jay Shankar Bupalapally District, Near Warangal and we also covered places nearby.

You can reach Warangal either by road or by train.It is well connected with Hyderabad and other major cities by the National Highways.

If you choose to go by train, You need to hire a vehicle and go by road for the rest of the trip.

Hyderabad to Warangal- 145 km -3 hrs

6:00 Am - Started from Hyderabad to Warangal by road.

8:30 Am - Breakfast at hotel on bonagiri bypass road

11:30Am- Reach Warangal

Day 2

After breakfast start for Bogatha waterfalls.

You may carry an extra pair of dress for swimming and some snacks for the road journey.

If you are travelling with kids make sure you carry some food also, since we travel through forest you may not find all that you need in the journey.

8:00 Am- Start from Warangal to Bogatha waterfalls.

135 km- 2 hr 30 mins.

You pass through the Eturinagaram forest area which has the scenic beauty of green forest on either sides and the lone road inbetween.

But it's not recommended to stop the vehicle inbetween as it's a animal crossing point and vehicles go at high speed on the Highway.

10:30 Am Reach Bogatha waterfalls.

You have to walk a little from the parking to the waterfall.

Bogatha is popularly called as the Indian Niagara falls because of its resemblance to the mightly waterfalls of US.

You can spend time clicking pictures, swimming in the water.

The rustling sound of water breaking through the rocks is like music, you will not like to leave the place but we got to go to our next location.

You have rooms for changing dress.

Start towards Laknavaram Lake.

11:30 Am Reach Laknavaram Lake

The serene lake has a huge bridge across.

Telangana Tourism department has provided boating and speed boating facilities with all safety measures.

The pleasant ride along on the hills resembles the boat ride along the Papikondalu near Badrachalam.

The island has Haritha Resort with Restaurant and rooms available.
