Day 3

Since on day 2 we dint get time for beach, so we decided to dedicate our day 3 completely to beaches. Trust me nothing makes your day more, on a vacation than having a great breakfast to start your day and what if its complementry?? i dint know what else to ask for.  We slipped into our shoes and started for Om beach. It was a 20 minutes ride from coconut tree resort. From OM beach we had to take a ferry to reach Paradise beach. That ferry costed us 300 per person.  We thought they are asking too much before we could find out what all it has to offer. That 15 minutes of ferry ride was brimming with magical sights of bluest ocean, diving fishes and bewitching scenery of cliffs loaded with greens. We stopped by Half moon beach for a while, very less crowded beach with few cafes and no electricity. Very small beach, beautiful though.
We started again for our most awaited trip to Paradise. 5-6 minutes by ferry and we could see a beach that does not have more than 10 people and most of them as foreigners. Paradise beach it was, with no cafes, least people and few vendors selling Pineapple and watermelons. As soon as we got down from ferry, we ran into the sea and stayed there for hours. The boulders were full of psychedelic paintings and beach was really very clean. Spending almost 2 hours in the water we came out seeking something to eat and we ended up munching two big pineapples. They were really good. We relaxed for a while and then took a ferry back to Om beach. We had to stop by Namaste cafe as we heard so much about the cafe. We were really hungry as we missed our lunch so we ordered a mushroom white sauce pasta and beers. Food was really good. Sun was setting and so were we. Started taking small steps tonwards our den reached back in 15 minutes.

Damn tanned and tired.

Gokarna Town: Our wanderlust soul revived just after 30 minutes of rest and a quick bath. We had a lot of time left before we could goto bed so we decided to hunt Gokarna main town. Town was hardly a kilometre from the stay. Gokarna is a very small town and light and life is hardly in 4-5 kms. We parked our bike near a shop and started combing the city on foot.  We stopped by few handicraft shop to satiate our shopiholic soul, stopped by a cafe that was offering homemade icecreams ended up eating pav bhaji as well. Good one. In 1.5 hour we completly covered everything interesting on the streets.

Gokarna Beach: After combing streets we still had some time so we thought of visiting Gokarna beach as it was just 200 metres from the town. Most popular and highly accessible beach of Gokarna. It is near Mahabaleshwar temple. Not so clean and full of people all the time. We sat for 10-15 minutes, it was 9 o'clock and people were still coming in. We were done. So we just moved back to the stay. Had our food and called it a day.
