Summers and Manali is a perfect combination, from 42 degree Celsius to 12 degree's is itself a bliss.
The day 1 started with the hidimba devi temple , 2 km away from the mall road in Manali. The cedar forest in the background adds beauty to the ancient architecture of the temple of godess hidimba.
Later in the evening the mall road is the perfect spot for street shopping and having a hot tea in the heart of himachal.
The Manikaran temple situated on the banks of parvati river in Kullu , 35 km from Manali is widely famous for the hot springs and various theories/idealogies are related to it.
Himachal pradesh being the most tourist attracted place , the various adventure sports are one of the things you wouldn't want to miss in kullu-Manali. River rafting in byas river is such a fun thing to do.
From day 1 of my trip I was only waited to visit this location the famous 'Rohtang Pass'. Though every year the entry to rohtang pass is permitted by end of may but I feel lucky enough to visit this magistcally beautiful spot in mid of the month may .Located 50 Km away from the village Kothi in kullu , the snow point is the major attraction for everyone who visit manali & that too in summers.
Okay the last day call's for the famous Solang valley in kullu . It is also famous as the adventure valley. Adventure sports like offroad biking, horse riding, bungee jumping, zip line and paragliding are the major source of income of the locals.
Shiv temple situated on the top of the valley is the attraction in solang. The view from the top is messmerizing and the best part is there are plenty of ways to reach till the top of the valley.
Okay so I hated geography as a subject but fell in love with the mountains.
Manali is surely the queen of all the hillstations.
