Day - 2

There are so many reasons to definitely stay at Zostel. first and for most it's a living fort so zostel itself is in Jaisalmer castle so apparently you get to experience of staying in fort. How amazing it is!!

Just look at the magnificent view of the city from Balcony of Zostel, jaisalmer fort!! it's incredible isn't it??

Beautiful lake very much near from zostel. You can take a walk and visit it. it's a free entry and also there is boat ride which starts at Rs. 10/-. Very good for photography. it is less crowded in afternoon so keep that in mind.

The best part of trip like these is you get to explore by walk and experience the core of that culture. Jaisalmer is also known as golden city because most of the houses , havelis and fort it self made of yellow sand stones as you can clearly see in these photo.

This is beautiful patwon ki haveli. This is also in centre of the city. one main tip is "Do not hire a guide for this as you can see it by yourself because it's very small mainly you just have to see the architecture there is no rocket science in this particular place. Entry fee is Rs. 20/-

This is the thing you have to have try this is "Daulatbhai's Dal pakwan" it's so so delicious. i get to know about this from a local that during shooting; Sonam Kapoor tried this and called him to make this at her wedding. And actually the hype is worthy definitely. Only at Rs. 50/- per plate.

When we asked for sun set point , Tuk Tuk driver Mr. Sharif khan suggests Vyas chhatri. And it was on point... Sitting on top staring at setting sun was very soothing . Entry fees for this is Rs. 100/- must come early as during winter sun sets quite early so better don't miss the moment.

Day - 3

It was a day two and to start exploration; started off with the main fort it self anddddd it is gigantic structure full of living alleys & shops makes it so so unique!!

For day two. We hire a Tuk Tuk because they offer to show a bunch of attraction like 3 for Rs. 300/- or so (according to the price of diesel ) so it's pocket friendly too. Started with Bada bagh and it was so so beautiful, many bollywood movies have shot here. Very "instagramble" place to take photos.

It is Rani's mahal especially made for queen at little distance from main fort. (Indian Kings definitely into too much privacy i guess, ha ha ha )

I have opted for a desert safari package from Zostel. Per head Rs. 2500/- onwards in which they pick you up from zostel all the way to Thar desert in Jeep and any attraction in between driver will stop jeep so you can explore . This lake was on the way to Thar Desert.

Jeep dropped us to boundary of Thar desert and from that; starts our camel safari to go to the middle of Thar desert sand dunes.

The camel i was riding name was Romeo and literally he was romancing with the other camel and that was hysterical how these both were playing and running forgetting the fact that i am sitting on. pheww

Just take a break ,sit back and watch the sun set sitting on sand dune. It was a very good evening really and yes they provide tea and snacks so you can enjoy sunset having tea.

After having fulfilling dinner made on sigdi was sat on bed (charpai) when i spotted this magical galaxy. Yes that is me holding mobile torch posing for this magical memory. Sleeping under millions of stars was incredible. i can't even express the feeling it was so ecstatic truly.

Day - 4

Next morning on the way back to Zostel met some locals and visit their house. Also had "Kanchri ki sabzi" , i've never heard about that before but it was delicious. They said it made only in villages mostly. let me know in comments below have you ever had that???

Next morning after coming back to zostel, went for paragliding at Sam Sand dunes . As Sam is an off beat place from main city i hire a bike. You can spot paragliding service provider on the way to Sam also do negotiate for charges i did at Rs. 450/- per head. Tip - Only do if it's windy day.

If you are shopaholic then Jaisalmer is your heaven, trust me on this! jaisalmer has some of the best collection and gem at the cheapest price. From clothes to junk jewelry , bags to souvenirs it has everything. Tip - Arjun textile shop in fort has very affordable good collection.

The whole experience was amazing. Trip was 4 days long and i haven't face any comfortableness from a single local . People were very welcoming and respectful. Though i was a stranger they literally treated like their own guests however for traveling you have to little careful as solo traveler.

When i say life changing i really mean it... because i met someone for the first time on my first trip. And and ...From a Co traveler to life partner my Jaisalmer trip definitely turned up the best and most memorable trip of my life.

From airport a Tuk Tuk came to pick us sent by Zostel as another solo traveler joined me on this trip. Tuk Tuk was sent by zostel as we choose to stay there.
