Bagore-ki-Haveli is a haveli in Udaipur in Rajasthan . It is right on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangaur Ghat. Amar Chand Badwa, the Prime Minister of Mewar, built the structure long back in 18th Century.
Bagore ki haveli is famous for it's Dharohar dance performance by folk artists. The act is of complete 1 hour starting at sharp 7pm everyday. The act comprises of puppet acts, various dance forms of Rajasthan & great folk music. This haveli is next to Gangaur ghat near Jagdish temple. Try to reach there by 6.15 pm to get tickets without wasting your time in long queue or book online.
The architecture of the place is epic with hundreds of small rooms. There are also many epic paintings of Mewar Era
How to reach Bagore- Ki- Haveli:
Car/ Taxi/auto are the best means of transport in entire Udaipur. This place is close to Gangaur Ghat and very near to Jagdish Temple as mentioned above.
Timings:
The timing of the place is 9.30 Am to 5.30 Pm but the folk show is from 7 PM to 8 PM which is a must as it will show you the rich culture of Rajasthan.
We also had the fortune to visit this amazing place in Rajasthan and enjoy the amazing Folk Show. It was an eye catching show which will remain in your memory for a long long time.
The folk show had everything we had listen about. The fire matki dance was one epic thing to see along with the Puppet Show.
The backdrop of this place is also beautiful overlooking Gangaur Ghat. Plus it is also surrounded by various eateries and it just amazing to have food looking at the beauty of LAKE Pichola.
After the show we went to "Charcoal by Carlson" an amazing place to eat near Bagore-Ki- Havelli.
This place is highly recommended especially the folk show.
