Started my ride around 2.30 in the morning after a massive card play with my roommates! NH75 is almost like a motogp track with no speed breakers, humps, interceptor or any cameras! So the ride was quite fun:P #131KMPH. On the way,I had a coffee and sandwich from Kolar CCD and then directly headed to GOURAPURA village where I reached around 5 AM.The mantras and songs from the nearby temple gave me a spiritual feel!
I started trekking through the unexplored way, listening to the lullaby of birds and the sound of brook ,mesmerised by the
beauty of the butterflies and carried away by the calm and serene atmosphere. The path welcomed me with its scenic
grandeur, the greenery ,the wind carrying the scent of the multi-colored flowers and the distant rocky hills.
Some moments of absolute pleasure to the senses. After an hour or so,I located the brook, took a bath and carried on
trekking through the rocks for a while and reached a point when I realized that there was no more way to go
up.Took a geographic turn based on my sense of direction and made my own way through the rugged path and thorny
bushes to finally reach the destination.
There was a temple and a pond of holy water. The temple had some beautiful carvings on them and the statue of 'Gomatha'.My hunger was satisfied by the biscuits which where being sold closeby to the temple . I took the stairs for the way back and was accompanied by a troop of monkeys. I also met a few kids playing around there who where inquisitive enough to enquire where the brook was and smart enough to speak to me in the little English they knew and yes, they did give me the light moments for to wind up that adventurous journey!
