Maharashtra is blessed with a long coast line with few of the finest beaches one could find in the country. Anjarle, located near Dapoli, can be said as one of the finest places in Konkan. Anjarle is mostly famous for its pristine beach and ‘Kadyawarcha Ganpati’ (ganpati temple on a cliff). With Harnai and Suvarnadurg fort in vicinity, Anjarle makes a memorable weekend destination!

Anjarle hosts one of the very secluded beaches in Dapoli. A clean beach with a cover of white sand and surrounded by palms and trees makes a breathtaking view! Located near an estuary of the river Jog, Anjarle beach is about 2 km long and is perched in one of the most picturesque locations of Anjarle.

The other major attractions here are the very famous Kadywarcha Ganpati, Suvarnadurg Fort located near Harnai port and the Parashuram Temple at Ade. Also, the Anjarle Ganpati Temple has ‘Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati’ & hence worth visiting.

Way to Go:

Anjarle is located about 25 km from Dapoli. The best way to reach Anjarle is from Dapoli. Taking the Harnai road towards Khem, a 15 min drive along this road, you see a bridge over the Anjarle creek. Crossing this bridge takes you to Anjarle.
