I have been exploring the parvati valley for the last one month and have come across many places but what I love the most is this small village on the way to manikaran from Kasol.
Reason to stay:
There are many reason I chose to stay in kasol rather than staying in main kasol area. First being that it was less crowded place than kasol. Other reason was to explore this beautiful homestay in choj which is even more secluded than others. On the edge of the village. You will find this homestay and you will fell in love with in at a very first glimpse. This is located near the parvati river bank. So, waking up to see this beautiful nature and appreciate it had become a routine for me.
Food:
If you are not planning to stay you are always welcome to chill and have the best food in choj as they have very good cooks who are always ready to surprise you with their culinary skills. I really love their paratha. So, imagine yourself waking up and having breakfast along the riverside. It’s a complete bliss.
Nearby places to visit:
The choj itself is a beautiful place that you don’t want to get out but people like who are always here to explore more. Here are places that one can cover:
1. Manikaran hotsprings.
2. Lapas hike
3. Gunher hike
4. Brahma temple
Personally, I really loved walking in the village and interacting with the locals as they are always welcoming and invited me over to their homes to have the best chai. This is how I can wrap up my whole trip to Choj and experience this life with them.
