Located away from the main city of Kodaikanal on the Pillar Rocks Road, Guna Caves is one of the mysterious tourist attractions in Kodaikanal that promises an enthralling experience. Originally known as Devil’s Kitchen, these caves are actually caverns formed between the three boulders of the mountain.

Pillar Rocks are three vertical granite boulders, standing shoulder to shoulder amidst untouched packets of dense rainforests. Unique and visually stunning, these rocky pillars measure approximately 400 ft in height from the ground level.
Between the pillars, there is a dark chamber that is called the 'Devil's Kitchen'. The shady woods beneath the rocks serve as perfect picnic spot for locals as well as tourists. Close to Pillar Rocks, there is a beautifully manicured garden where you can find a wide variety of flowers blooming.
Revered as the pristine gem of Kodaikanal, La Saleth Church is sited up on a cliff edge outside of town. In order to reach there, you have to ascend a steep staircase which guides you to the door of this beautiful shrine. Once reaching there, one can pay homage to the Almighty and offer his/her prayers in calm and quiet ambiance. La Saleth is more than 100-year old historic shrine in Kodaikanal and was once the only Catholic Church in the town. In the month of August, the church hosts its annual festival to pay homage to Mother May that runs for around 9 days. Kodai Lake is a manmade lake located in the Kodaikanal city in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu, India. Sir Vere Henry Levinge the then Collector of Madurai, was instrumental in creating the lake in 1863, amidst the Kodaikanal town which was developed by the British and early missionaries from USA. The Mother Salette church is one of the oldest churches, about 133 years old. The statue of Our Lady of La Salette is present inside this exquisite church giving the pilgrims its blessings with a serene poise. The church beautifully exhibits the excellent Tamil French architecture. The interior of the shrine is worth looking at since it is adorned with graceful statues of Our Lady of La Salette above the altar along with a statue of St. Joseph. Vattakanal Falls situated at a distance of 3 km from the town of Kodaikanal is famous for its rich biodiversity.
