Day 1

This is how my Valentine went!!

Valentine's was a long weekend (14-16Feb)

We Planned to go Jim Corbett with 8 other friends on  14th feb (Friday) early morning around 4am by Zoomcar, reached Ramnagar at 3pm, Stayed in Ramnagar in a beautiful newly opened resort, Corbett Green View Garden and stay OYO 70124, lushed with greenery and habitat for cats, monkeys, dogs!
The stay was pleasant and luckily affordable (900 bucks/person)
Very same day, In the evening we visited Corbett waterfalls and witnessed beautiful sunset ⛅
Later in the evening, we did bonefire and dinner with light romantic music.

Next day, we had our safari ride in the jungle, we woke up at 4am on 15th Feb, jungle was home to various wildlife species, we were lucky to witness few.
As our guide said, it totally depends on your luck whether you get to see the 🐅 tiger.
For safari, we paid 1000/person and the ride was of five long hours. It was very cold in the morning and we were almost frozen.

After completing the safari, we at random and unanimously planned to go to Nanital, which was hardly 2hrs drive from Jim Corbett.
And that was the best impromptu decision.

Ahhh....while on our way to Nanital, our car was challaned for not paying the state tax. 3000bucks!!

Waiting for the jeep to pick us

Day 2

We reached Nanital around 3pm on 15th Feb, parked our car and did ⛵ boating in the very famous and soothing Nani lake. We took self paddle boat and stayed in the lake for like 2hrs, trust me this was the best part of the trip.
All our tension, anxiety went away, and we were charged with positivity.

We were then roaming in the mall road, trying out various street foods, Guys..one thing, I have been to so many hill stations, however Nanital is my favourite among all.
The food, the vibe , the lake, the cleanliness, wins my 💓 heart everytime I go there.

We left from Nanital around 10pm.

With lots of high hope we went to Jim Corbett to see tiger, and unluckily we couldn't spot any, However on our way back to home from Nanital, to our astonishment we spotted one tiger crossing the road. He looked back and was in attacking gesture. That face of him, is a lifetime memory.

Shock waves went down the spine but at the same time we were thrilled as well.

One more funny incident took place. We were again caught by the police around 4am and they interrogated us (PS: we had stopped on the street where brokers with girls were standing)
However, we convinced them that it wasn't the case, showed them pics from the trip, finally they let us go. But, one of our friends had lost his wallet there!
Pheww!!!
