Day 1

A Day started with long road trip. As we desire to go and visit Aurangabad city. This time we were traveling by car.

Aurangabad is a city where you can amuse with lots of locations. Temples, Caves, Monuments and forts are main attraction of the city. Here you can found religious places as well historical too.

Ajanta - Ellora caves are situated near to Aurangabad city. So you need to stay in this city and visit Ajanta caves - come back to Aurangabad and next morning visit Ellora caves. This caves are combination of Buddhist, Jain and Hindu caves. Some caves are from the second century also.

Ajant Caves : - We were stayed in the hotel Ginger - situated in the aurangabad city. Very nice food and staying facilities are available. You need to take around 350 steps - to reach the Ajanta caves(Last cave- Do not miss this last cave). There are around 30 caves which are beautiful and example of ancient architecture and carving. This monsoon season it is really awesome to visit the caves and climbing the short hills. Also note that from Aurangabad city - it will take around 3 hours car drive to reach Ajanta caves. Also you need to be careful with the stones as it is sleepary ROCK. You required around 2-3 hour time if you explore the caves fully. So leaving early from Aurangabad is advisable.

It was the memorable experience as monsoon season going on and rain is everywhere.

Day 3

Ellora caves are situated nearby aurangabad city. It will take an hour to reach here from the city. Do not miss the Daultabad Fort on the way. It is also required to take one hour climbing to reach top on the fort.

Ellora caves - Kailash temple caves is do not required to miss. It is finest example of ancient architecture. Only problem is the most of the idols are in ruin conditions. There are around 34 caves and you required long walk to explore all the caves. Minimum 3-4 hours required to explore all the caves. For exploring caves 29-34 you need to take state transport bus.
