When you are from South India and want to explore the city of Pune, the best way to travel is by flight.
Taking a plane from Kochi International Airport at 1:45pm to Pune International Airport, we reached by 3:30pm in the evening.
1 hour taxi ride from the airport got us to Hotel Chedak in Model Colony.
After checking in to our rooms we went out for an evening walk to places around.
Talking a walk in the night city after a belly filling dinner, we headed back to our rooms.
We had our next day planned for a Pune Darshan. From 9 am to 6pm we visited various places in and around Pune.
Next day we headed to the heritage town of Maharashtra - Nashik in a bus. Reaching there we checked in to Panchavati Guest house. The remaining day was spend in visiting various temples in Nashik.
Next day we went to Pandav Leni caves located on the hill at the outskirts of Nashik city.
