This is the view we saw from the car after taking a U Turn from the over crowded Lohagad Fort making our way to Tikona which is less frequented. This one mountain had around 15 waterfalls on all sides so instead of taking the second right we took the first and kept going straight & Reached Kamshet.Took a Detour as we spotted the waterfalls enroute to Tikona from the car and thought lets take a chance and get to that waterfall.. we Parked and started walking through the Rice fields towards Kamshet Falls.A little posing but the Waterfalls that looked close were at quite a distance and we had already walked for 40 mins. Finally we made it at the Destination, what an achievement this one was.. Nothing is impossible when u decide you have to reach there. After this we headed back to our original destination, TIKONAView of Tung Fort on the way to TikonaAlso we spotted this Dam open on the way so took a quick Pit StopThe Tiny stretch passing through the Rice Fields was magical and trecherous.. as the Rains were in Full force and we were unprepared for the trekFrom there we continued to our Final Destination TIKONA FORT. Views Enroute TikonaThe start of the trek and the first break point is quite an easy walk. This trek can be done by first time trekkers. WHAT YOU NEED TO CARRY ON THE TREK - Water & Biscuits. If trekking in the rains a Raincoat would help as the Umbrellas will not be able to take the wind. TREK LEVEL & BEST TIME - This is a long 2 hour trek but extremely easy even for first time trekkers, those with knee problems should avoid as the rocks to climb on are quite high and distanced. Kids can also do this trek easily. Best time would be go in the afternoon so u don't have too much FogThe views are so Beautiful you can see the entire of Pawna Lake & surrounding areas from the top. You can trek this mountain at any time of the year but Monsoons are the best. This is the route to the top.. Clearly not for the Faint hearted, The end just before the Summit point the steps get Steep and Slippery. so Go Slow and don't be in a hurry to reach the top. What everyday should look like. Enjoy the views on the way to the top, they are as rewarding as the Final destination. The views from the Top are stunning. Take a break once u are on the top and make ur way down when it isn't raining as it can get slippery towards the end.
