Badami was the then capital city of Chalukyas. It is at 140km distance from Hampi. One can reach here by road. We hired a car to explore Badami, Pattadakal and Aihole.
Badami is mainly famous for its caves and the Bhoothnath temple situated at a corner of man-made Agasthya lake. Words will fall short to describe the beauty of this place.
