As expected day 2 started a little late in the noon for me. I looked down, only to find the lower bunker empty. My cousin , who had a better immune system had woken up early and headed over to the beach to cool off last night’s madness. After managing to clean myself up and fixing some food for myself I decided to visit the old town of hvar and the hvar castle. Fifteen minutes into the walk , I was standing in front of the castle entrance. Another long inclined slope was looking at me and mocking me by saying
“ what a perfect day you chose to do a cardio?”. Caressing in pain , I somehow managed to reach the top of the castle only to realise that the only mode down from here for me now is by rolling along the cliff. Some relief came when my butt touched the cold metal of the bench and cool breeze blazed across my face. I sat there enjoying the view for half an hour, and by that time enough blood had rushed back in my legs to avoid rolling down the cliff.
I made my way back to the hostel to find my brother back from the beach.
