All your globe trotting is going to come to an end once you have a kid, they said...

Have all the fun you want now 'cos once you become parents, life is gonna turn upside down, they said...
.
A kid will affect your financial stability and you will never have enough for traveling again, they said..
.
Leave your kid with grandparents, otherwise you are never going to enjoy the trip, they said...
.
Kids are not gonna remember any of this, so why bother bring them along, they said...

We started traveling with our son when he was 6 months old.
And as 2019 comes to an end, at 3 years of age, he has been to 30 countries and more than a 100 cities around the world..!
.
We have stayed in hostels and dormitories, walked for hours together in sub-zero temperatures, explored ancient cities in the scorching sun, danced in the rain and tasted our first snowflakes, climbed mountains and rolled down sand dunes, eaten from street side food stalls, taken flights, trains, buses, ferries and even horse back rides ...
.
In short, we have done all that we have always dreamed of doing, and enjoyed it even more with our son, and together as a family. 💕
.
But, it’s quite fair to say that traveling with a small child is never easy and involves its own set of challenges.
.
As parents, we needed to re-think how we traveled and a lot of it was letting go of our own expectations of “perfect trips” with picture perfect postcard memories. 
.
How enjoyable traveling with kids is, ultimately has a lot to do with the mind-sets of the parents.
.
Don’t expect perfection, plan for some hiccups along the way. Those will be the fun stories and anecdotes you will remember at the end of a trip!
.
Raising young little travelers, is exciting and tiring. But so, so worth it!💕
.
So as we step into a new year and decade, don't let anyone stop you from exploring this beautiful world, hand in hand with your family, cos those will be the memories that will stay with you till your last breath! ❤️👨‍👩‍👦✈️🌍
