1) The journey song-

And yes, your heart beats faster on the roads, roads that awaken your desire to travel. This wonderfully scripted song is sure to do the same.

This song is sung by Anupam Roy and Shreya Ghoshal, and is written and composed by Anupam Roy.

2) Ilahi-

"Shaame malang si,

Raate surang si,

Baaghi udaan pe hi

na jaane kyun,

Ilahi mera jee aaye aaye"

And for all those nomads who believe travelling is their life, this is a perfect song. 

This song is sung by Mohit Chauhan and Arijit Singh, Music by Pritam and is written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

3)Kyon -

Chale tedhe-medhe se raston pe nange paanv re

4) Hairat-

Let loose your locks and enjoy the ride. This song with cheerful music is a must for long trips through picturesque landscapes. 

The song is sung by Lucky Ali and the music is composed by Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani.

5) Kashmir mein tu kanyakumari- 

"Kashmir main tu Kanyakumari

North-South ki kat gayi dekho doori hi saari"

This is one of my personal favorites. Set in the spectacular tea gardens of Munnar, it holds within it a South Indian feel .

This song is sung by Arijit Singh, Neeti Mohan and Sunidhi Chauhan, Music by Vishal-Shekhar and lyrics penned down by Amitabh Bhattacharya. 

6) Pataka Guddi-

"O jugni O ....Pataka Guddi O..

Nashe mein udi jaaye re haye re 

Sajje Khabbe Dhabbe killi O.."

The typical North Indian Roadtrip tune. Whistle your way to the fast paced melody sung by Nooran sisters, Jyoti and Sultana.

Music is by A.R Rahman, and lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. 

7) Safarnama-

"O....Safarnama..

Sawalon ka,

Safarnama...

O.....Jisey Dhoonda...

Zamaane mein, mujhi mein tha.."

"Safarnama" is a beautifully sung soft jingle set amidst the breathtaking scenery of Corsica.

Its singer is Lucky Ali, music is by A.R. Rahman, and is written by Irshad Kamil.  

8) Khaabon ke Parindey- 

"Ude, khule aasaman mein khaabon ke parindey...

Ude,dil ke jahan mein khaabon ke parindey...

Oho, kya pata, jayenge kahaan..."

The words of this song speak out the heart of every traveller.

It is sung by Mohit Chauhan and Alyssa Mendonsa, music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and lyrics by Javed Aktar. 

9) Yun hi chala chal raahi-

10) O Gujariya- 

"O Gujariya...O Gujariya...

Hai kya, kya hai

Hai kya irada tera.

O Gujariya… O Gujariya…"

A song that will make you tap your feet in jubliation. The music by Amit Trivedi rejuvenates the party spirit.

11)Hum jo chalne lage-

'Cos Journeys are better than Destinations. This song is yet another to state the same. 

It is sung by Shaan and Ustad Sultan Khan, music by Pritam Chakraborty and Sandesh Shandilya, and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. 

12) Ik Junoon-

This song is set up in Spain, filmed during the famous Tomatina Festival. It is one of those songs which create a hunger for travel. 

It is the perfect amalgamation of singers namely-Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, Gulraj Singh, Alyssa Mendonsa. Music directors are Shankar,Ehsaan and Loy,and lyrics are by Javed Ahktar. 

13) Gazab ka hai yeh Din- 

"Chal pade hain hum aisi raah pe..

Befikar hue ke ab jaana kahan

Lapata hue saare raaste

Dhoondega humein yeh zamana kahan"

Has the appealing voice of Arijit Singh, and also Amaal Malik, this song is one of my favorites. It is written by Manoj Muntashir. An amazing composition of Amaal Malik.

14) Dil chahta hai-

"Dil chahta hai...

Hum naa rahe kabhi yaaron ke bin.

Din-din bhar ho pyaari baatein,

"Dil Chahta hai" is the song that revives the feeling of friendship. It is sung by Shankar Mahadevan, lyrics penned down by Javed Akhtar and music Directors are Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

"You don't need magic to disappear. All you need is a destination." This song reflects the same. 

The Music Director is Sohail Sen, lyricist is Irshad Kamil. The song has the voices of Benny Dayal and Aditi Singh Sharma. 

17) Tanha Dil-  

"Aankhon mein sapne liye..

Jaane yeh raahein ab le jaayengi kahan...

This is a timeless song sung by Shaan.

18) Aahista-
