1) Thol Bird sanctuary
It's a bird sanctuary having artificial lake and n number of birds. its situated in Mehsana district and its only 25km away from Ahmadabad. you can find around 150 species of birds, most of them are water birds and migratory bird. Winter is peak time to visit this place. You have to carry water bottle and snacks with you as there's only lake and open land.
2) Gandhinagar
Its a capital of Gujarat and the first smart city of Gujarat. Its only 25km away from Ahmadabad. Its rich in terms of nature. You can find greenery all around. Places to visit are Indroda Park, Sant sarovar, Mahatma mandir. Though its more famous for its greenery most suitable time is monsoon
3) Adalaj
Its a small town which came between Ahmadabad and gandhinagar. There's one step well and one temple which is known as Trimandir.
4) Polo forest
It is also known as Vijaynagar Forest. It is situated in sabarkatha district and located at foothill of arvalli range. The place have 450 species of plants and 275 of birds, 30 of mammals, and 32 of reptiles. During winter, The forest attracts migratory birds. Its one of the hill station of Gujarat. Best time to visit July to March
5) Somnath
It is a pilgrimage place of Gujarat having First Jyotirling . The Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat.
6) Dwarka
It's again pilgrimage place having temple of lord Krishna. Place is situated on the coastal highway. It has many beautiful beaches
7)Madhavpur
its a place which is not very well known among all. Its on costal highway of somnath - porbandar. One of the most beautiful beaches are there in madhavpur. It also have mythological impotance and temple of madhavrai(Lord Krishna).
8) Jamnagar
Jamnagar is the largest city on the westernmost side of India and is the fifth largest city of Gujarat. It is very famous for bandhani, kachori, brass products and marine sanctuary. City is also known as "choti kashi" , as it's having more than 100 temples. City is cool and calm to visit there's Ranmal Lake which is one of the favorite place of migratory birds.
9) Khijadiya
Khijadiya is small town of Jamnagar district. It has Bird Sanctuary which have been recorded about 300 species of migratory birds. The sanctuary is unique having both fresh water lakes, salt and freshwater marshlands. Winter is best time to visit.
10)Ahmedabad
It is city of joy, happiness and celebration. It's a heritage city declared by UNESCO. There are POL which are known as living heritage. They are almost 300-400 years old. People still live there.
