Hello travel community,Let me introduce myself first.
I am Masud Siddique,from Moirabari, Morigaon,Assam, a medical student.
So here I am gonna share my first international trip -to Thailand.
We had our flight from LGBI airport Guwahati to Suvarnabhmi Airport, Bangkok.
But before that you should exchange your money before departure,as sometimes the airline officials asks about how much money you are carrying.
Next day early morning we reached Bangkok and we took our visa on arrival at the airport which was free of cost then.
After exiting from the airport we directly went to pattaya by Bus which is available in front of the arrival gates every 45 minutes.
After reaching pattaya we went to our hostel which we had booked and took some rest.
After resting for few hours we went out to explore the famous walking street of Pattaya.
After coming from the walking street we returned to hostel and slept. In the morning after waking up we got fresh and left the hostel.
Then we went to pattya ferry pier to go to Coral island or Koh Larn.
we rented a scooty to roam around the island and beach hoping.
We visited few of the beaches of that island and returned the scooter after 4 hours.
After the whole day of beach hoping we returned to pattaya in a ferry and did our lunch. In the evening we returned to Bangkok in a minivan.
And the funny thing is that we didn't stayed at hostel or hotel that night.
We went to suvarnabhumi airport of Bangkok, and stayed overnight there as we had to catch an early morning flight to Krabi.
After staying the whole night at the airport,we slept a bit and charged our phones fully and did our daily needs we got freshened up and went straight to board the flight.
After a 45 minute flight we landed in krabi. An then we took a shared taxi to go to center of attraction of krabi province.
Taxi left us by side of Ao nang beach which is a crowded beach having a market nearby. We stayed there till noon to chill around the beach. And after a couple of hour of soaking in sun and sea water we went to had our lunch in an Indian restaurant which was in Aonang beach.
After that we went to our booked accommodation Jasmine resort.I had to mention this property for the owners well behaved manner and humbleness.
Next morning we got up early as we had to go to Phi Phi Island tour which we had booked earlier on the previous day.It costs us around 1500 Thai baht per person .
A traditional Thai van came to pick us up and took us to Noparathara beach where a speed boat was waiting for us to take us to the tour.
So finally our tour started around 9:30am.
First stop was bamboo island but there was literally no bamboo tree at all.The island had some pine trees. There are some cafes inside the island where you can drink or eat something and relax under the shades. After stopping there for 40 minutes the tour continued and we set to go to our next stop.
It is also called Viking caves as told by the guide. It wasn't permissible to enter there so we had to see this from a bit far.
I don't need to mention about Maya Bay.Thailand tourism boomed after the Leonardo Decaprio movie where this island was used to shoot.
Tourism also had done so much damage to the ecosystem of the island that the government had to close it.So we were also told to see it from far where the boat stopped.
Next stop was Monkey island or monkey beach. The small island was inhabited with a small population of monkey. As heard from the locals the monkeys feed on Crabs. Isn't that interesting.
Finally we reached Phi phi island around noon where we had our lunch and we took a small walk around the island.
After stoping there for an hour we returned and stopped somewhere for snorkeling.
After half an hour of snorkelling session the boat returned and they dropped us to our resort where we were staying.
After reaching our resort we bathed and get dressed and went out to explore the krabi town.
I liked the krabi town so much, such a well organized town without any chaos in roads unlike Bangkok.
First we went to the tsunami memorial sculpture and park around it.Such a calm place to spend your evening .The place was just in the bank of the krabi river( hope it's the name of that river).A small port like pier was made which adds beauty to the place.
Next we went to Krabi night market where we picked up few things as souvenir and did dinner while returning to our resort.
Next early morning we had return flight to Bangkok.
We reached Bangkok around noon and reached our hostel and rested for a while as we were exhausted by our early morning journeys.
As we woke up it was almost evening and there was no time to go the attractions like temples as they get closed by 4PM.
So we planned to go to do some shopping.
I don't if it is true or not Thailand have many night market or weekend market almost everywhere.
Chatuchak is also a such type of market in Bangkok where you can get cheap shopping items.Yes bargaining is also allowed there. After getting few thing we went to another shopping hub of Bangkok.
It is another large shopping complex having shops of everything starting from cheap to expensive items. And it has got direct entry from BTS station.
