Thailand Part 2: Phuket & Bangkok

Hi Friends,

Sorry folks to keep you waiting for so long for the next blog. This is basically the next part of our Thailand journey which is Phuket and Bangkok. Phi Phi island was always on my mind ever since I watched in many movies and other shows. So We checked out from our Krabi Hotel and headed towards Phuket by a Car. It took around 3-4 hours to reach Phuket including few tea and snack breaks. On reaching our hotel, we just dozed off till evening and later we went to the nearby beach which is the famous Patong beach. Did I tell you that our hotel was very close to Bangla road which is famous for nightlife in Phuket? It has so many bars, pubs, nightclubs and etc. We had a great time hopping on the streets of Phuket. Next morning we had planned the Phi Phi Island tour and a minivan picked us up from hotel along with several other guests from different hotels.

Phi Phi island is broken into several different islands and Its best to take a Super speed boat to visit Phi Phi island as it is very spacious and one can move around easily and get the awesome view of the surroundings. The tour lasts the whole day from 9 AM - 4 PM.

When we started approaching Phi Phi Islands, I was so amazed at how beautiful the scenery was that I felt like I was living the dream! The waters were so clear and bright blue and the vertical cliffs surrounding it were breathtaking. Later our boat stopped at a point where we did snorkeling. There were so many colorful and different fishes and it was a beautiful sight to behold.

On next stop was downtown Phi Phi, where food was served to us as our tour came with a free lunch, which was just average in taste. Later we walked around the downtown area and relaxed by the beach for some quiet time.

It was seriously the most beautiful islands I have ever seen and I feel incredibly lucky I was able to experience all of this. Our tour came to end after 4 PM and we reached back our hotel, packed our stuff and left for Bangkok.

On reaching Bangkok, we were literally tired and had no energy to go out as it was quite hot. But by some time we thought to explore at least something in Bangkok and shop souvenirs for our family so we went out and visited the famous Golden Buddha temple and nearby markets and bought a few pieces from there. And guys that was it and our Thailand holiday came to an end. We again had to pack our stuff and leave to our favorite country where we belong to. It was an awesome experience to visit Thailand and I can't wait to come here again.
