Thailand is a dream destination for so many, and for good reasons. The last time I was in Thailand was back in 2014 and I had the time of my life. The pristine beaches, the lively flea markets, the incredible temples and more, this Southeast Asian country has so much to offer to people from all walks of life.
Over the last 3 years, Thailand's tourism industry has suffered a lot due to COVID and the restrictions that come with it. But finally tourists craving for a much needed vacation can rejoice as Thailand is finally open to everyone as of July 1st 2022!
What has changed?
1. Foreign nationals do not require the Thailand pass to enter the country anymore as Thailand’s Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) approved the removal of the Thailand Pass registration scheme.
2.The requirement for a US$10,000 health insurance for foreign visitors has also been scrapped, effective 1st July 2022.
What else do you need to know?
1. All you need to show now is a Vaccination certificate or an RT-PCR Test, or professional ATK test result within 72 hours of travel.
2. You'll still need a valid tourist visa, a Visa on arrival or a sticker less visa along with a valid travel document like a Passport.
You can find the list of all 12 approved vaccines here.
