This is the most underrated destination in Thailand. Most travelers to Thailand don't look beyond Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket and Chiang-Mai but there are so many off the beaten path destinations in Thailand. International borders are still closed so I decided to discover destinations within Thailand. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a landscape which is very European just three hours drive from Bangkok. I love the typical Thai landscape with beautiful frangipani trees and resorts reflecting a tropical mood with orchids and pineapples but every once in a while, I love to get away from that to a different landscape and if you are like me, Pano Villa is the perfect destination to experience a change from the typical Thai travel and tourism experience.
I usually travel abroad during this time and have not really tried to discover new destinations in Thailand but this villa was beyond my expectations.I heard about this villa through a friend and I was not at all disappointed .
The landscape around the villa felt like Europe, I did not feel like I was in Thailand. If you don't speak Thai, it can be a little bit challenging. They had someone who could speak good english but most staff speak only Thai.
The horses were well taken care of and we got a basket full of carrots every morning to feed the horses. This place felt like it was stretching beyond the horizon into the clouds. It was so picturesque and beautiful. I could just spend all my time sitting and staring at this landscape.
We traveled as a family with our dog, I was so happy that such a beautiful and well maintained villa allowed dogs. There is so much space for dogs to run around and play. It is a little away from the main town but that is the charm of this place, I love the seclusion.The nearest town is 5 kms away, the price for one night includes breakfast and a basket of carrots to feed the horses.
