Think of a destination that is happening with beaches and nightclubs, is under budget and only a direct flight away. Phuket maybe sprawling with a lot of tourists but that's no reason to give it a miss! The people, the place and the vibes make it an absolutely fun escape for a perfect bachelors trip. Here are some highlight from our trip:

Day 1

Karon Beach

After landing during the day, the first thing we wanted to do was to relax at the beach so we headed to Karon beach on our rented bikes, watched the sunset laying on our mats.

Simon Cabaret

Our stay was at Patong area, so this place was at a walking distance and worth an experience.

Day 2

Big Buddha

We started our day with some coffee and croissant at Coffeemania and then headed to Big Buddha. It is one of the most prominent places to visit and brimming with peace. At the top, we could see panoramic views of Phuket town and Chalong bay. We'd also marked our wishes on the golden leaf onto the Bodhi tree. You'll be given a sarong to wear if your clothes are above the knees to enter the temple.

Wat Chalong

Yet another prominent landmark that is a sacred beauty and has beautiful interiors. We also did a little shopping from the stalls at the gateway of the temple.

Promthep Cape

This is Phuket's southern most point which is very picturesque as it is a hilly cliff by the sea. After touring the two temples, this turned out to be an amazing decision to just relax and watch the sunset.

Day 3

Island hopping in Koh Phi Phi

We'd taken a half-day tour package for snorkeling which took us around Phi Phi don, Maiton and Khai Nai islands. The water really looks as pretty as you'd see in the photos of Phi Phi islands. We didn't see any marine life while snorkeling (that wasn't the intent of this tour anyway).

Otop Market

After coming back to Phuket from the Phi Phi tour, we'd visited this market for some serious shopping which was also hip with live music.

Day 4

Kata Beach

This beach was very colorful with the beach beds and international crowd. After this, we'd visited Kata Noi viewpoint for some hillside views of the beach.

Surf House Phuket

We had to try this after seeing so many surfers in the beaches. We had no prior experience in surfing so we ended up getting a lot of funny videos of ourselves. But we would definitely come back to do this again!

Day 5 & 6

Escape to Krabi

We did 1 night and 2 days in Krabi spending time at the hot springs, Emerald Pool and kayaking at Ao Thalane on the first day. Second day was spent chilling at Ao nang beach, getting a Thai massage in one of the parlors and some coffee at The Coffee Club.

Day 7

Phuket Old Town

This was the last day of the trip where we spent the day in the quaint Phuket Old Town which was lined up with colorful shophouses and gorgeous architectures. We got great bargains at the night market as well.

Bangla Road

Last but not the least, we spent a great deal of time at Bangla Road or Patong walking street which is famous for its nightlife buzzing with open bars, clubs and some live performances in the street itself. We went to Illuzion which is one of the most popular ones and checked out Tiger nightclub as well. We were also lured into a shady alternative of a ping pong show, it was a weird experience TBH.
