My family is in the textile business and every year, various companies organise family conferences for all dealers, retailers and agents to different places in India and abroad. I used to go on these trips with my brother but due to Covid-19, there were no such conferences in the past two years.
At the end of 2021, we were delighted to know about the Kashmir family conference, which was supposed to happen in the first week of January. I was extra excited for this trip as this time it was Kashmir- which is literally termed as the heaven on Earth and is one of the best places to visit in India. But destiny had other plans and the trip got indefinitely postponed due to sudden increase in Covid cases at that time. Being a travel enthusiast, I was sad at this turn of events as the trip got cancelled only a day before our expected day of departure. The year which was supposed to be starting on a very good note, just turned soar for me. All the excitement for the trip turned into bizzare feelings, which haunted me for upcoming couple of months and I didn't even know how to dealt with it.
Has this ever happened with you guys when a trip- you are very excited about, got cancelled? How do you guys cope with this scenario?
In March, the company again planned the trip and we finally made it to Kashmir. Although I was excited for Kashmir this time also, I kept telling myself to not feel anything until I land there. I was not ready for another heartbreak😅.
Stay tuned for the second part to know how was my actual Kashmir trip and what all things I did and what all places I visited there. Adding a few photos of Kashmir here for you all to witness the extravagant beauty of this place.
