What is that country that consists of mountains , beautiful lakes , sheep yards, sea ports, Pacific Ocean and lots more.
That country is sixth largest island country of the world by area.

That is very beautiful country, neat and clean , high living standard , good rules and regulations.
New Zealand is the first country who gives women right to vote.
Rules of New Zealand are clear and clean .
During Corona period this country overcomes the situation in good way.

New Zealand has two main parts one is North Island and other is South Island. Also it has over 700 small islands .
Wellington is the capital of New Zealand. But If we talk about most populous city then answer is Auckland.

New Zealand has sharp mountains that includes volcanic eruptions and southern Alps.

Interesting thing is that New Zealand is declared last large habitable land to be settled by humans.

**Maori culture :

Now we talk about our main topic Maori culture and how it was established in new Zealand.
During era from 1280 to 1359, polyesians start to settle in Islands of New Zealand, also they develop distinctive Maori culture. Then Dutch and English start settle in New Zealand and there are frequent toconflicts between British and Maori tribes and due to these conflicts, today majority of New Zealand population are Europeans.

But still there exists Maori culture, their style , their cooking methods, their food , habitat etc.

We say that New Zealand ' culture was derived from Maori and early British settlers in New Zealand.

Also Maori villages are famous because of their hot springs which have magical properties of healing. Maori people bath with these hot water.
Maori culture is about 1000 years old. These Maori people are very tall people. They hunted many birds , animals and make them part of the food. They first discovered Hangi just like our basic oven.
They mainly depends on seafoods, lamb  etc.

Apart from their culture Maori villages are also tourist destination.

You can enjoy beautiful sight seeing while paddling in whanganui river with the help of Maori guide people. They know best about their areas and they guide very well.

**Mountain peaks :

As I tell you New Zealand is mainly divided into two parts one is North Island and other is South Island.

South Island has many mountain peaks . Height of around 18 peaks is greater than 3000 meters.
Highest peak is Aoraki whose altitude is 3724 meters which is equivalent to 12218 feet.

Whereas North Island has less peaks but North Island has volcanic plateau, volcanic eruptions mountains.

There are many hiking and treks, some of which are easy and one day trek .
You can also do hiking and enjoying the picturesque of New Zealand.

There are many tour packages of hiking and trekking provided in Auckland. These may be start from Auckland. Some are one day and some are 2-3 days..you can take these trips according to your budget and choice

** Food of New Zealand:

If you visit New Zealand , enjoy the delicious food made by kiwis.
This food has special flavour.
Some special foodie of Kiwis are :

1. New Zealand lamb :
Kiwis like lamb very much. They roast it and then added species which make it more delicious. Tender and succulent lamb is favourite of Kiwis.

2. Hangi:
As I tell earlier Maori invented traditional style of cooking food under earth just like oven. Hangi food is that food cooked by Maori under earth. This food is special food cooked for special events.

3. Fish and chips :
Fish is also favourite of Kiwis. Coated fresh fish in a crispy batter and then deep fry that fish. This fish is served with high chips. Kiwis like fish and chips on beach site. In almost all food points you can get these fish and chips easily.

4. Kiwi summer BBQ:
BBQ means Barbeque, other method of cooking lamb, beaf , sausages and poultry in backyards of home during summer montha and served with potato salad , fresh vegetables and garlic bread.
This is essential part of Kiwi ' s culture.

5. New Zealand pavlova and fruit salad:
Kiwis like ice cream specially creamy vanilla with tiny balls of crunchy honeycomb. They also love pavlova.
Pavlova is a delicious dessert of Austraila and New Zealand. It is like a circular cake garnished with whipped cream , this cake may crispy from outside but internally very soft.

** living Kauri tree :

This kauri tree is not a ordinary tree, this tree is very old tree, almost old as Ancient Egypt. Many tourists come to New Zealand to see this special tree. It is one of that living tree that lives for millennia. This tree grows slowly, it is one of World ' s slowest growing tree. It grows to enormous size slowly.
Name of this kauri tree is 'Tane Mahuta ' which grows in 'Waipoua forest' . This tree is oldest and tallest tree of New Zealand. It's growing rate per year is 10-20 cms.

** Paradise of New Zealand Kapiti Island :

The beautiful island Kapiti is just like a paradise on Earth.  It is best place for Birds. Many visitors came and see the charming birds, beautiful sites , mountains , picturesque, beaches etc.
It is like a predator free wildlife sanctuary which are paradise for birds. Many endemic and endangered birds stay happily in this sanctuary.
This nature reserve is almost 2 kilometres wide and 10 kilometres long .
It is advisable to take a guided tour package tk Kapiti Island.
