Day 1

We had the journey planned last minute thanks to my sister being an Air India employee it was time to make use of the perk. It was a much awaited trip for my parents as they have been looking forward to visit the world renowned temples on the other hand me and my twin sister had other plans in mind all we could think of was beaches late night, stroll around the beach and crashing a party .

We took off from Delhi Airport to Trivandrum Airport, it was an early morning flight I really enjoyed the views and the inflight breakfast all cheered up we finally landed at the airport where we could see that corona has actually entered the country as all the staff had there faces covered in mask .
We took an uber started of our journey it was totally an unplanned trip all we relied on was Google, and me being from the travel industry all eyes were on me .....we planned to visit Kovalam on our first day ...enroute I managed to book us a decent family hotel with great views and accessibility to the ocean ...those were the days...

Day 3

My sister and I realised that the beach life was over and it was time for my parents pilgrim journey to get started....we took off from Kovalam and reached Kanyakumari I must say I realised that even pilgrim places could offer you some stunning views with great stories and adventure .......

We were in Kanyakumari again a day of getting our religious beliefs revived, me and my sister was aware that it's now time for the parents to have there kinda trip so even we thought why not enjoy this as well and relive the days when it was our parents who took us places in our childhood and we enjoyed each bit of it

Day 4

Rameshwaram the land where one of the shivlings is located out of the 12 my parents thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the visit, we covered the famous points booked an auto the driver name was karikeya again a sorted fellow that has the info inside out an enthusiastic fellow which matched me and my sister's vibe and just made the day full of excitement.

Day 5

Madurai:
we spent 2 daysb in madurai the world famous Meenakshi Temple which my father was very eager to visit was finally infront of his eyes ....it was a spiritual experience again keeping aside the long queues(even if you purchased the vip line ticket again a lesson for every temple the line is same no matter how much you spend on these tickets)

All in all it was an amazing trip where we all learnt that a trip cna be curated in such a way that everyone enjoys it's always fun to travel with the family the views shared the moments spent and the memories made are for a lifetime.

Looking forward to more such travel a day will be there when we will be on the other side ...so always cherish the days well spent with your family!!
