World's second largest mangrove forests is located in Pichavaram village in Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu. Its a 20 minutes ride from Chidambaram bus stand.

You have different boating packages available where you can opt for the one which suits you well and you can pay extra few pennies to the Boatman to extend the time a little and show few interior and un explored places. More interaction with the Boatman will help you gain more information on the place.
