Solo trip to "The Nilgiris" (Ooty and Coonor)

My First 2days Solo trip has started.Started from Bangalore to Ooty via Mysore.

Took train from Bangalore to Mysore as I heard and read many things about the Mysore to Ooty route... Decided to go that way... From Mysore I started to Ooty at 7 in the morning.. (suggestion prefer window seat for amazing views..).

On the way to Ooty we will be crossing two forest areas ( Bandipur and Mudumalai).  It took 4 hrs to reach Pykara. Pykara was my first tourist spot on day 1 in ooty. Don't miss this place.. If you are interested you go to Pyakara boating it is just 2 km from Pyakara waterfalls..

Next took bus to ooty, on the way you can watch all the shooting spots.

After reaching Ooty, took bus to doddabeta it will drop us at base point , from there we need to go by cabs ( from base to back to Ooty they take 100/-) . They took us to doddabeta , Tea museum and back to Ooty.

From there I have visited Botanical Garden, it was good.
I skipped Rose Garden as locals said this is not the season. Back to my room.

Second day it was trip to coonor

Booked train from Ooty to coonor. All the way you will be seeing tea plantations,some waterfall, Eucalyptus trees, city view all through and the train will be passing through tunnels. Overall travel through train was 😍😍.....

At railway station I took package tour to see coonor. First we went to tea estates(Coonor has more tea plantations than ooty). Later to Eucalyptus oil factory.

Next stop was Dolphin's nose from where one can see Catherine falls , Kotagiri city view and Metupalyam plains.

On the way back to Coonor visited Lamb's rock, Sleeping lady view point and also Coimbatore/Metupalyam city view.Later been to Sim's park.

Now back to Ooty from Coonor. End of trip as I started to Bangalore.

Note: One can visit Adhiyogi statue near Coimbatore also if you have time.
