While chatting with my friend on Saturday night that we should explore Coonoor as have heard lot about it... so this is how we started our journey on my friends Royal Enfield...we started 6 am in the morning from TIRUPPUR... google maps searched the location very well and we followed it... what an amazing weather as it was drizzling and well built up roads made our trip so easy and wonderful...
Route we followed-
TIRUPPUR-AVINASHI-ANNUR-METTUPALAYAM-COONOOR..
Coconut trees on both the ends and winds whistling through & riding on a bike .. god what else I would have asked for ...felt blessed!
As it was early so we thought to stop and have coffee.. so we enjoyed hot coffee and started our journey again..
After couple of hours riding we reached Coonoor ... winding through clouds .. it was chilling , so my suggestion to everyone to take a jacket so did we had & wore it...
Finally Coonoor ... whatever we have heard about this place , it is beyond words... an amazing place with lush green tea estate and cloudy weather...we enjoyed a lot... visited Lambs rock and explore town for sometime.
Had sumptuous lunch at one of the hotel and relaxed for sometime ...after half an hour we started our journey back to TIRUPPUR...
We enjoyed the trip and happily safely returned back with lots of memories of such a beautiful scenic place.
